One step forward…

Today Dad made great strides in his recovery from hypercalcemia and the cancer in his bones causing compression on his spinal cord.  He sat up in chairs all day and walked as much as he could.  He also had other “things” removed to verify he will be able to function as an outpatient.   Here [...]

Busy Day

A lot of developments today.  Besides all the family visiting we learned that he will likely be discharged in the next couple days as his immediate health problems have passed.  Normally this would be cause for celebration but he still needs physical therapy and will need to be placed in a nursing facility with rehab [...]
